IAABO Board #134 – “REVISED” Game Reporting Policy

(Effective January 1, 2014)

The assigned Game Referee (“the R”) MUST fill out a game report for each Middle School, Junior Varsity and Varsity Basketball game.

Game reports can be found on www.arbitersports.com under your assigned game.

Game Reports SHOULD INCLUDE but are not limited to comments about the following:

•    Condition of the Court
•    “30” Second Clock Working/Not Working
•    Performance and Competency of the Clock Operators & Score Keepers
•    Possession Arrow Present/ Not Present
•    Condition of the Dressing Room Facilities
•    Any serious player injuries
•    Etc.

Game Reports SHOULD NOT INCLUDE:

•     Any incident details IF an incident occurred (the official involved in the incident must file an INCIDENT REPORT).

IT IS MANDATORY THAT THE GAME REFEREE (the “R”) COMPLETE AND SUBMIT A GAME REPORT WITHIN 24 HOURS AFTER THE GAME HAS ENDED! IF YOU CAN NOT MEET THIS TIMELINE FOR ANY REASON AND REQUIRE MORE TIME – YOU MUST NOTIFY/CALL COMMISSIONER-I – Robert Roman on 240-351-5260.
